# Why does the proxy show as unable to connect in the fingerprint browser?

If the proxy IP shows as unable to connect in the fingerprint browser, this is usually related to one of the following:

1. Network connectivity issues
2. The current operating environment is Mainland China — 9HTTP is only supported outside Mainland China
3. The connected proxy IP is unavailable; try switching to a different IP
